I’m a plant biology student at Ohio University where I spend my free time doing yoga, taking nature photographs and drinking coffee. I have a fondness for nature, especially trees, mosses and fuzzy rodents. My favorite color, of course, is green. I love the American transcendentalist writers Thoreau, Irving, Emerson and Whitman and have an odd habit of picking up old copies of The Sketchbook by Washington Irving.
I’d make a pretty good traditional housewife someday (I love kids, can cook, sew – still working on the cleaning part, and have been dating my high school sweetheart for five years) but I don’t want kids and would go crazy staying at home all day. I can be quiet, shy and reserved or argumentative (I call it debating) and energetic depending on who I’m with.
I could spend the day watching the History or Discovery channel, as long as I have something to work on (I’d love to learn how to knit, but so far, haven’t been able to figure it out yet) with my hands. I have a kitten named after Detective Olivia Benson on Law and Order SVU.
